Meet the Founder

Millie Kingston, the heart behind Doody Call, brings more than 25 years of customer service expertise, including over a decade advising at one of Canada’s top banks. With a background in project management and process optimization, Millie is no stranger to creating systems that run smoothly and efficiently.

But how does someone go from corporate strategy to scooping poop?

In 2018, Millie suffered a brain injury while playing with her son. After seven years and eight determined (but unsuccessful) attempts to return to her former career, she realized it was time for a new path. “I knew starting my own business was the answer—but most ideas required more capital than I had,” she shares. Then, one day, a friend said two simple words: dog poop. And just like that, the idea clicked.

One month later, Doody Call was born. We officially launched on March 20, 2025, as Peterborough County and the Kawartha Lakes’ premier luxury dog waste removal service. Since then, we’ve proudly cleaned over 30+ lawns and counting.

Our mission is simple: help dog owners reclaim their outdoor spaces in a safe, eco-conscious way—for healthier, happier living. And our approach? Shame-free, judgment-free, always. Whether it’s been a week or a year since your last yard clean, we’re here to help.
